Are you ready for a challenge, breathtaking scenery and a course you will never forget? This may not be the easiest half marathon but we know you got this! The Berkshire East Half marathon has winding dirt roads, challenging climbs and beautiful scenery from start to finish. The course is half dirt roads, half paved roads and 100% awesome. The race starts at the Berkshire East Mountain Resort base area with a quick downhill to get you warmed up! After that the course heads into Hawley, MA on East Hawley Road before making a left onto East Road and onto the biggest climb of the day. You will steadily climb on a quiet dirt roads. All your hard work will pay off when you reach Forget Road and make a 3+ mile loop on the beautiful roads of Hawley MA. Take in the country views and peacefulness before heading back to East Road. All of that climbing from earlier in the day will pay off with a multi mile descent toward the finish line. The course flattens out as the slopes of Berkshire East come into view as the finish line nears. You will turn back into the Berkshire East Mountain resort where the finish line and post race party will be waiting for you!
